In mid-2017, as I prepared to leave my engineering and education focused role for a new adventure in the world of digital content, I knew I would need a new way to vent my lighting-related creative energy.

A fellow engineer and horror enthusiast launched Horror Consulting with me in June 2017 to specialize in “scares beyond the sofa” – haunted houses.  We design custom props and scenes, and blog about our shareable project, industry insights, and wacky ideas.

While I tend to only share our posts that apply to a wider audience here on Laura’s Lab, I would love any of my macabre-minded readers to head on over to the site and see what it’s all about!
